Utah Area CMA Committee Reports
President: Still in talks with other meetings to improve their attendance.
Treasurer: $ 962.62 balance – found an error in calculation and missing contribution from Y&TM

Communications: Books have been delivered to meetings, it appears that this has been most helpful to meetings. We will have to see how the groups end up using them

GSR reports
LFK: Needs more people to come – only 4 attendees holiday weekend. It has lower numbers and could benefit. Jonathan is trying some outreach for the meeting.
CSP: Doing well 14-18 folks a week. $187 fundage, increasingly diverse attendance
Y&M: Thinks the balance is over $400, wants to do outreach to treatment centers to help grow the meeting. Could use more attendance, handing out custom flyers.
Old business
Attending area meetings to distribute books:
Seth attended Monday Meeting at alano club 10 folks there. Some CMA attendees, many not. Some folks from jail joining.
Charlie & James went to Ogden meeting which doesn’t exist.
Edward went to the Wednesday Humpday meeting at the alano club. Maybe a relationship to be formed. Edward distributed books.
Newcomer Packet – It has been created content wise, has been reviewed but could use further review from others. Seth will add a meeting schedule and Austin will make it pretty.
New business
How do we grow CMA and retain new meetings? – We should brain storm, start with a word cloud – drop words we associate with CMA in WhatsApp. What is your elevator pitch for CMA? What makes it unique?

Ask your groups for words they associate with CMA, why do members keep coming back? We want to find the good and bad and grow CMA
